My name is Chris Piascik. I am an artist & graphic designer residing in New England. I post daily drawings on my blog Monday through Friday. I also have an apparel company called Print Brigade. I was trained in the black art of sleep deprivation by small men from outer space.
I like to draw type and hand letter. I once jokingly referred to it as "Typostruction," typography + destruction. I think the name is fitting. I will be posting great hand-drawn typography here on a regular basis. I may even slip some of my own in as well :)

The other day I saw a great video about Mitch Hedberg on Defgrip. If you are a fan of his, or comedy in general, I think you will be entertained.
This line comes from Hedberg: “I know people who believe in ghosts but don’t believe in themselves. It’s kind of sad. Okay you don’t think you’ll ever make it as a musician, but last night you saw a translucent caveman.”

Today, my friend Tony Luong came by my studio slash apartment to take some photos. This one was feeling kind of weird and unnatural—Tony joked that it looked like the cover of a Martha Stewart Living. So I made it that. There are some more photos on Tony’s blog.
