After some interest and support by some of my Twitter followers I’ve decided to offer a zine subscription for 2013. I love making zines and I haven’t made the time to do any new ones recently — so this will be a perfect excuse! Each month’s zine will be packed with my favorite daily drawings of that month plus lots more. So if you want my drawings to appear in your mailbox 12 times next year, click HERE.
Prints and more available at Society6! / Daily Drawing #1261.
My name is Chris Piascik. I am an artist & graphic designer residing in New England. I post daily drawings on my blog Monday through Friday. I also have an apparel company called Print Brigade. I was trained in the black art of sleep deprivation by small men from outer space.
I like to draw type and hand letter. I once jokingly referred to it as "Typostruction," typography + destruction. I think the name is fitting. I will be posting great hand-drawn typography here on a regular basis. I may even slip some of my own in as well :)

(via Hedberg: People Who Believe in Ghosts - Chris Piascik)
The other day I saw a great video about Mitch Hedberg on Defgrip. If you are a fan of his, or comedy in general, I think you will be entertained.
This line comes from Hedberg: “I know people who believe in ghosts but don’t believe in themselves. It’s kind of sad. Okay you don’t think you’ll ever make it as a musician, but last night you saw a translucent caveman.”

NEW MAGAZINE (NOT REALLY)!!!
Today, my friend Tony Luong came by my studio slash apartment to take some photos. This one was feeling kind of weird and unnatural—Tony joked that it looked like the cover of a Martha Stewart Living. So I made it that. There are some more photos on Tony’s blog.
